SYNAPSE ERm for iPad - Worldwide app for iPhone and iPad

The SYNAPSE ERm is a diagnosis/monitoring support system for the emergency room.
This application lets clinical staff exchange the information they need about the patients situation in the early stages of emergency medicine, both inside and outside the healthcare institutions.
The application lets users display CT, MRI, echo, and other two-dimensional study images (DICOM images) on the mobile devices (e.g. mobile phones or tablets). Its faunctions include evaluation of conscious level and neurological findings, checklist of NIHSS score, calculation of the t-PA dosage based on weight, and a reminder system that follows a checklist for administration precautions and contraindicated items.
Its timeline display gives users a quick referencing of a patient’s clinical course, including test results and image information from the time the patient arrived up to the present time. This enables the patients situation and progress to be grasped at a glance. The tweet function enables registered doctors to post comments regarding the test results and procedure polices, enabling a kind of virtual conferencing.

SYNAPSE ERm obtains study images from the modality or PACS, performs anonymization and compression on the images, and then converts them to a proprietary format that excludes any personal data.
